Everest Poker Review

Like Tiger Gaming, Everest Poker is targeted mostly at players new to poker, which is great for those with a solid game looking for an easy profit. If you want to play NL Holdem, the stakes start at $0.10 – $0.10, and the highest stake available is $50 – $50. This range is enough for most players, and those that prefer to play higher will need to look at other download free poker sites. Oh yeah, and you might wonder why I listed the No Limit stakes the way I did. The NL stakes are listed as the same value twice, but it’s really just the value of the big blind with the small blind being half that number. Why they chose to break with tradition and list stakes in this confusing way is a mystery to me.

You’ll be pleased to know that the Limit stakes are stated quite normally. They offer $0.02 – $0.04 and the highest stakes are $50 – $100. As you can see, those hoping to play blinds higher than $100 will be slightly disappointed. Sit-n-Go’s, on the other hand, can be entered for as little as $0.04 + $0.01 and progress up to a fairly large $500 + $30. You should keep in mind that similar to Tiger Gaming, Everest Poker is not listed as one of the US poker sites available to Americans. If you live in Russia or China, you are also unable to play on the site.

Everest Poker has expanded considerably since coming into the poker world, and they are trying as hard as possible to become one of the best online poker sites online. Their growth is impressive considering they don’t share networks with anyone else; they have their own network called the Everest Network. The Everest Network is currently the 6th most popular poker network online. If you’re a new player looking to build a bankroll, this room is a solid starting point.

No site is perfect, however, this site included. One negative would be the lack of diversity in games, as there are only variations of Hold‘em and Omaha, whereas many other money poker sites these days feature at least some Stud varieties. Also, if you do not own a computer on the newer side, the program uses a fair amount of memory. But overall you will encounter a lot more good than bad when playing on an Everest Poker download.
